it started with the best man’s speech, followed by a slideshow.

as the slideshow came to an end, Ryron’s brother announced that there was still a special surprise for Victoria. he began to play a video. as the scenes unfolded, you could see the puzzled expression on Victoria’s face.

what she was watching was the movie of when Ryron had proposed to her, filmed by Ryron’s brother. the only thing is, she never knew this video existed. he had been able to keep this a secret from her all this time. the movie showed Ryron asking for Victoria’s hand in marriage and then his attempts to cue his brother to move in closer for a better shot while he hugged her.

the entire place broke out into tears and laughter. Victoria leaned into Ryron and held him as the movie came to an end.

it’s impossible to describe the feeling I had when all this happened. it was a moment I will never forget.

today marks our 1 year anniversary as paperback weddings. it has been an incredible first year. thanks to all our past clients, and future clients for making our job so much fun. we have grown up a lot in a year, and cant wait to see what this next year has for us. love you all!

It was an amazing day in SF. The sun had come out for the first time in weeks. However, it wasn’t the weather that made this day so amazing but rather the company. Nick and Surya are the type of people you become best friends with overnight…the kind of people you watch (and enjoy) corny horror flicks with… the kind of people that make you smile and laugh every second you’re with them… the kind of people that take care of you when you can’t make it back home…the kind of people that show you what true love is all about. It was an amazing day. Love you guys.
