nick+julie’s wedding was long awaited for us. we met over a year ago, and over that year talked very frequently. we first met them in person in san francisco, where we got the opportunity to do a short film for them. (also shown below) we had a blast.
leading up to their wedding, they kept us pretty involved in their planning. we talked a lot about where they would have their wedding, what they were most excited about, and they really let us get to know them. all this just made the anticipation that much greater to shoot their wedding.

it ended up being more then we had hoped, and they trusted us to make a film for them that we are truly proud of.

this wedding was a blast! jon is one of daniel’s best friends and was in the wedding, so our talented videographer, austin, captured the day’s events – and he did an awesome job! jon+lana are so much fun, and that was totally evident in their wedding day, and especially in their video. their love was so evident on that day, and all were touched by how genuine their love for each other is. best wishes to jon+lana and the future that awaits them!! – katie

tom+stacey’s wedding was a blast. they are one of the most friendly couples, and when we first met over coffee, we hit it off right away. they were so natural on camera, and really trusted our vision and approach to telling their story on their wedding day.

you might notice some friendly faces in this video. nate is daniels younger brother, and I have known him for a few years now. It was so special for me to be shooting nate+daniella’s wedding! It has been a longggg time coming. they first met at nate’s 15th birthday party, and started dating the summer after their sophomore year of high school. they have been together ever since. it’s not very often that such a young couple set such a great example of a relationship centered around God. nate+daniella’s love for God and for each other is so transparent. nate is an avid surfer, so of course we got him killing it in the morning with the groomsmen, as daniella and the girls watched from their beach house. they tied the knot in a park in Solana Beach, in front of all their closest friends and family. after an unforgettable reception, we found an epic spot to shoot some portraits that you won’t want to miss! so thankful to be apart of this amazing day! congrats Chesnuts!

when i met jeff+kristina, and learned that they were interested in having us film their wedding, i was obviously super excited! you can’t deny it when a couple is just straight up good lookin’! but it was more than just their looks that caught my attention at this wedding, it was the genuine love that these two had for each other, that was so evident. from the emotional first look, to the hand-written vows, and then a legit dance party to end the night off right, jeff and kristina’s wedding was off the hook! – austin

ana+aaron, i am having a very hard time putting to words what it meant to me to be invited to be a part of your wedding weekend. you guys made my job so easy. thank you for having an honest and open love for each other, and for being willing to have us come in and be a part of your world for a weekend. i appreciate your friendship, and am so thankful you allowed me to be inspired, and gave me room to tell your story the way i felt best represented you guys.

it started with the best man’s speech, followed by a slideshow.

as the slideshow came to an end, Ryron’s brother announced that there was still a special surprise for Victoria. he began to play a video. as the scenes unfolded, you could see the puzzled expression on Victoria’s face.

what she was watching was the movie of when Ryron had proposed to her, filmed by Ryron’s brother. the only thing is, she never knew this video existed. he had been able to keep this a secret from her all this time. the movie showed Ryron asking for Victoria’s hand in marriage and then his attempts to cue his brother to move in closer for a better shot while he hugged her.

the entire place broke out into tears and laughter. Victoria leaned into Ryron and held him as the movie came to an end.

it’s impossible to describe the feeling I had when all this happened. it was a moment I will never forget.
